Receiving a D&AD award for his commercial work for Adidas and having a series of documentaries exhibited at esteemed institutions like The Tate, helped wedge Sam’s foot in the industry’s door.
His short film work gained recognition at festivals such as BFI and Raindance, but it was his time spent filming in Iraq and years forging bonds in the bodybuilding community that matured Sam as a filmmaker.
As an active club member of the British Society of Cinematographers, Sam continues to build on his credits of Netflix streaming features and shooting drama for ITV.
Beyond work, Sam finds joy in gathering friends for lively pizza parties fired up in his backyard oven, weekly trips to the cinema, cooking for friends, training at his local bodybuilding gym and curating a collection of vintage comic books.
